My blood tests reveal estrogen dominance (im a male and my Testosterone levels we’re below the low end of ref range and my LH levels were abnormally low given my low Test levels). I stopped using the tea tree oil upon reading the studies and my T levels rose up some and mood and other estrogen dominance symptoms somewhat improved.

It’s been 5 years now and I still havne’t gotten rid of all the symtpoms and my hormons are still some what off balance (high E and lower T). I do have good amount of fat in midsection that I am unable to lose. Is it possible the endocrine disruptors can still be in my fat stores years later? If so, how can I break them down and get rid of them? Rest of my body is lean except soft midesction regardess of diet/workout/cardio,.

Appreciate any input!
Thanks

I would stay away from all soy products as they are estrogen mimickers. Also check out this article: https://draxe.com/health/10-ways-balance-hormones-naturally/

I have Estrogen Dominance and PCOS. I have changed my diet drastically and buy organic as much as possible I also buy hormone free meats and dairy. Can you recommend anything else that can help me lower my estrogen or maybe higher my progesterone. I also have high testosterone levels. Me very doctor I see says my weight is the issue but no matter what I do I can only maintain my weight. Any help would be appreciated.

I’d rather not make use of it. But you’ll notice I replaced that study with a few others in the article. You can read more on these sites:
Environmental Working Group: http://www.ewg.org/reports/BottledWater/Bottled-Water-Quality-Investigation
Springer Link: http://www.springerlink.com/content/x6087214563368q6/
Wiley Interscience: http://www3.interscience.wiley.com/journal/21549/abstract?CRETRY=1&SRETRY=0

A brand with a good reputation is Aquasana. Check out their website.

Do municipal filtration systems do anything to lower these levels? If our household drinking water is laced with xenoestrogens (or even straight up estrogen) then how do we avoid it? Are there ways to purify one’s water that would remove hormones and hormone analogues?

Too little is being said about the connection between obesity and endocrine disruptors, or what some researchers are now calling "obesogens." Please consider reviewing our new book, The New American Diet, which is centered on this very idea. It hits bookstores Dec. 22. http://bit.ly/5zkRsV
