They also supply a manganese, copper and B vitamins, which allows blueberries to aid heart, brain and gut health.
  • Coconut Milk: As the liquid base, this blueberry smoothie recipe uses coconut milk. Why coconut milk? Because coconut milk nutrition is full of healthy fats, protein and several important minerals.     Dr.Axe…I had a test done for leaky gut and it came back positive in early Jan.I’ve been taking your Probiotics and gut Restore…also have your gut repair cookbook.I heard flaxseed meal is hard on the gut lining…is sprouted flax meal?

    What’s with whey protein? Is this not derived from Soy? I would rather not use this. Is there a substitute for whey protein? I’m a vegan and I think I get more than enough protein from my vegetables and my green smoothies.

        I gave this a go this morning for the fist time and I too also found that 1/4 cup of milk was not enough to make my blender work properly. I had to add at least 1 cup of water.
        My whey power didn’t come with a “scoop” I’m presuming a scoop = 1 tablespoon?? Same with the superfood powder, should this be 1 tablespoon as well?

        Your recipes sound wonderful and I’m really looking forward to trying them. Today is day one! :-)
