Did he have to cut out goat milk products as well? I have IBS, as well as many other health problems and limitations. I would not like to give up goat milk, or the plain yogurt and cheese made from goat milk. But, I’d try anything.

A friend recommends cooking an organic chicken in a pressure cooker for 4 or so hours to receive the same nutritive broth with the same release of collagen, aminos and minerals? Is this true? How is the best way to make homemade organic bone broth?

You can refrigerate this smoothie for about two days, but I personally think the taste is better when made fresh. I would recommend cutting the recipe in half to avoid keeping it in the fridge for too long.

My Vascular doctor for Venus Stasis Ulcers. Last year I had a open wound which did heal and I’m not diabetic. My legs are ugly red and scaly most of the time. I moisturize but it’s winter and my house is extremely dry. At first I thought I had an insect bite or a reaction to something. I eat fresh most of the time. Carbs get in the way especially that I am a cook and baker. My age is 71. I’m extremely active and still work in a school. I feel my legs are weakening and recently bought a cane. My Dermotologist gave me the news of Guttate Psoriasis. It’s above my knees down my arms and the top of my back. His prescriptions were an Antibiotic Cefadroxil 500 mg twice daily and a Steroid cream Clobetasol Propionate USP cream 45 grams 0.05%. extremely itchy. I stay away from fragrance creams. Praying this all goes away. To my observation I think I have a Leaky gut.

deborah R-if one has gut issues then yes it will cause problems like gas, bloating, but if you have decent digestion going on then it will generally help soothe the stomach lining, everyone is different, some have leaky gut and or SIBO, and need a very special health protocol as taking probiotics will have you feeling worse as there is too much bacterial overgrowth.

And that we should only consume cooked vegetables.

So why use raw leafy greens in your smoothies?

Which theory is correct please ? I’m very confused as to whether to have green smoothies with raw vegetables, or not. Many thanks , Diana

Bernard Jensen has a wonderful ‘Liquid Dulse’ . half a teaspoon twice daily. Also black walnut is high in iodine. Dr Christopher & Dr Hulda Clark are excellent brands of Black Walnut extract. One can take 1 tspn or more of the black walnut 3 times daily. And apply as a compress to the throat, where the body will absorb the organic iodine directly . Plus, learn a relaxtion technique. High emotional upsets leads to increase buring up of the iodine in the body which in turn causes thyroid problems. Solution: iodine rich foods, daily relaxation & learning to “accept whatever decision is made & go along with Life peacefully”

its the cruciferea family of vegetables that inhibit the absorption of iodine & thereby irritate the thyroid. kale, cabbage & others. Spinach is Not a member of cruciferea. Best to use as much Variety as possible in shakes (& foods)..whatever is in season is least likely to be ‘chemically manipulated’..& is more likely to be grown locally & therefore fresh. As well as economical. One needs elements from the fruits vegetables, seeds, nuts & grain from all 4 seasons in order to build a healthy strong body

bananas have small thin glass like seeds that , if eaten in large quantities can & often do irritate the mucus lining of the bowel. Best to eat the banaas very ripe. And one a day is acceptable.

I once read that if you shower twice a day for 2 weeks and eat beef and stewed tomatoes once a day, it will curb your cigarette addition. The beef and stewed tomatoes draw the nicotine out of your cells. The showers wash the nicotine off your skin. I’m not a smoker, but I’m around a lot of smokers. I would be interested to know if this works.

Don’t ever put them in your ears or eyes. You can place drops on a cotton ball and place the cotton ball in ear and they will get it just the same. Also you can rub them on the bone behind the ear and they get in that way as well. You can rub oils around the eye and underneath if you need to ever use them for that. Just wanted to let you know.
