In reply to Karen. Coconut butter contains the oil and the meat of the coconut. It's higher in fiber and nutrition as a result.

Can I cook it as a cake in a tin with the middle in it. It looks like a giant donut tin? As I don’t have a donut tin and cant afford one it would be great to be able to make a donut cake instead.

In reply to Jan. Hi Jan, any substitution to the coconut butter would greatly alter this frosting recipe. You could try any type of nut butter. If you try that, use less.
