Weekly Check-In

I want to record some of my goals and progress. Now that I’m so close within my goal weight, I want to keep myself accountable in more than just weight. I want to continue to better myself. Make and work towards new goals. Find motivational moments and quotes. I really hope everyone will join me in this. Checking in and pushing forward. Sharing and congratulating. Supporting and encouraging.

Short Term Goals

Hit my goal weight – I am so close. I have about 6 pounds left. To be honest I’ve been maintaining where I’m at for a couple weeks but have found it a little difficult to keep motivated. Most of that coming from being so satisfied and happy with where I’m at. I am confident in myself and in my body. However, I still would love to hit the goal I have been working for now for almost a decade.

Be able to do 50 push-ups – Right now I am doing 18 push-ups daily. I plan to increase this number by at least 2 every week. Meaning next Monday, I will hit the 20 mark! I have been working on this for almost a month now already.

Adventures – For me, mental health has a lot to do with your state of mind. My state of mind improves significantly if I am able to get out and have adventures. It has been something my family has been trying to do more often this last year.

Crane pose and Tripod Headstand – I have not been that great at yoga balance poses. I would really like to focus on hitting some specific poses. I want to work on them 3-5 times a week.

Grip Strength – I love rock climbing. However, my biggest weakness is a huge weakness when it comes to rock climbing. I don’t have much upper body strength, mostly in grip strength.

Long Term Goals

Toning – With weight loss comes some extra skin. I would like to tone up areas that have loose skin. I know this will take time, but I will get there one step at a time.

Blog – I would love to make a goal to eventually have 25K views a month. This I also know will take a lot of time and hard work. I have to strive to give good information and content. I want to create an environment where people will want to go to seek encouragement and support from each other.

Fitness Coach – I need to continue to increase my knowledge in all areas of health and fitness. I want to become certified to teach and coach and help others to attain a healthy and happy mind and body.
