How are you all doing with your goals? What is going on with your life, comment below and let me know what you’re working on. I’ve been learning and adjusting a lot of the week. Tweaking the new things I’ve been working on to make it fit with my life. Okay, let’s get a little more specific on all of it.
Intermittent Fasting – This has been the biggest learning curve for me. It’s actually exceptionally convenient to not have to worry about food all day long. Problem is that I kept forgetting about it altogether until late. Then I was trying to eat a bunch of food way to late at night. I also was trying to eat what I normally did all day long in a short amount of time. The downside of it was that I ended up gaining a few pounds. However, I started paying more attention to doing it better. I switched up what I was eating to even out the quantity of food. And I worked on getting my eating done at a more reasonable time. I dropped back to my 141 weight and now am ready to see if I can hit my goal weight with this new eating strategy.
Squat challenge – I have been very consistent with getting my February squats in. 100 a day for 14 days so far. I’ve been very happy to see multiple people getting in on this challenge and working hard.

Push-ups – I am doing 24 pushups a day. However, I did cut this down to once a day. I felt that I was sacrificing my form during my second set way too much. I am trying to see if I keep increasing my pushups but only once a day with good form, helps me to continue my progress.
Adventures – I’ve spoken before about my family’s interest in rock climbing. This week we were able to make it out to the rock-climbing gym. We spent a couple hours bouldering. I still have a long way to go to really increase my ability in rock climbing, but I am glad that I can see some improvement. And I’m definitely not as sore as the last time that we went. I was really proud of my oldest son, who found his bravery and didn’t require a spotter to get on the wall. He is starting to see the joy in it and wants to get much higher on the wall. We want to make it a monthly thing.

Tri-pod Headstand and Crane – I feel like I’ve got my headstand down. I find it pretty easy to get my feet where they need to be and just need a little concentration to straighten out. I haven’t made much progress on my crane. Still only a few seconds in position, but I will keep working on it.
