Life is full of ups and downs. I have good days; I have days not as good. However, I keep moving forward and improving myself every day. I apologize if you get tired of these weekly check ins. However, they are something motivating for me to look forward to lately. It helps to make sure that I stay accountable for even the little things so that I can say that I am continuing my goals. I wonder how many people like hearing about where I am at and what I am looking forward to. Even if it is just for me, I like to be able to write it down.
Short Term Goals
Monthly Challenge – I have challenged myself and anyone else who wishes to participate in a flexibility challenge and a positivity challenge. I have been working on flexibility through stretching. I have missed a couple of days, but I am working on making it part of my daily routine. Just like everyone else, life gets busy. However, I know it’s important to make these things in my life a priority. I know practice will make perfect. The positivity challenge is actually a bit more challenging. Hey, that’s the whole point! But seriously, it feels weird to keep looking for things I like about myself. However, I do feel like it is making me more positive overall. I don’t feel like I’m as quick to criticize myself as normal.
Mental, Physical, Spiritual – I am still meditating for short periods in the morning. It definitely doesn’t feel so natural to me. However, as a way of making it more comfortable I have also been using this time to send good vibes and thoughts out into the universe. Projecting the success and positivity that I want to receive back from the universe. I have missed a couple days of running but have been better at doing a higher intensity with my yoga. I also have been going back and forth between reading the “greenlights” book and a 1st draft novel by Emily. Emily is an author on this blog as well. She has written about a couple of things including Tea.
Ragnar – As mentioned before I have missed a couple of my regular runs. However, I am feeling stronger and more confident about being ready for Ragnar. I may already have mentioned it, but it will be the longest number of miles I have done in a Ragnar.

Intermittent Fasting and Pushups – Still working on these goals. I don’t really have anything new to report.
Strength and Toning – I haven’t been that great at daily exercises but I am recommitting myself to continuing with this goal.
